Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! I wish you a day full of laughter, gratitude, meaningful conversation, positive energy, and healthy food 💞.

I want to let you know how thankful I am for YOU, your support, and your trust in me to help you reach your goals. I’m able to wake up and do what I LOVE because of people like you, Friend.

So … thank you.

In keeping with the theme of the holiday, I have two great goodies to share with you.

  1. The first is a really fun activity for you to do this week that will instantly make you feel good – and also do the same for someone else.
  2. The second is Thanksgiving Dinner Questions you can use today to ignite amazing times together.

1) Activity / Mini-Challenge!

Did you know that expressing gratitude is physically good for you?

Studies show it improves both your mood AND your mental health.

In fact, something as simple as the act of writing a “gratitude card” can make a surprisingly big difference in your life.

This study by the Greater Good Science Center found that writing thank you letters can have a positive impact that lasts at least 3 months.

Researchers found that people who wrote gratitude letters reported better mental health (better mood, less anxiety/depression) both 1 month AND 3 months afterward than those who wrote about negative experiences or didn’t write anything at all.

This can even have lasting effects on your brain’s prefrontal cortex, which is the area associated with learning and decision making.

The Challenge is…

>>> Write one (or five) gratitude cards this week to someone you care about.

Friend, who would you like to thank for his/her existence and presence? Or someone you want to let know that you’re thinking about them and wish them well?

It could be a teacher, a coach, a student, a friend … or a neighbor, family member, former boss or coworker.

Then… send them your gratitude card IN THE MAIL.

2) Thanksgiving Dinner Questions

Late last night I went to the supermarket to grab a couple of items. It was hard NOT to notice the family spirit inside the store. The laughter, conversations, and looks at shoppers’ faces reflected excitement and happiness. It brought a smile to my face ☺️

No matter what is going on in people’s lives, meals and music bring people together. Yet, meals are always opportunities to be intentional with the people you’re with.

Today, I would like to share a tool one of my virtual mentors, John Maxwell, put together. The Maxwell Family’s Thanksgiving Dinner Questions can easily spark great conversation and create connections with family and friends.

Download this PDF version of The Maxwell Family’s Thanksgiving Dinner Questions for FREE.  Pass it around the table and ask the questions that will stimulate great conversation and build lasting memories.

Remember that LIFE doesn’t HAPPEN to you–it happens FOR YOU 💚.

You can’t solve a problem with the same mindset that created it!

I hope you take the time to truly enjoy your day.
